Attention Child Care Providers!

 

The Child Care Program Office is excited to partner with Alaska SEED to offer $3,000 in funding to support each eligible professional working in child care!

 

Alaska SEED recognizes your previous and continued commitment to Alaska’s young children and families. This award gives you a well-deserved $3,000 wage “bonus” to help with your personal and professional expenses in 2022 and encourage your continued employment in the field.

The 2022 Alaska SEED ROOTs Award application portal opens on Monday, December 6 at www.seedalaska.org. You are eligible to apply if you:

1. have a current/active membership in the Alaska SEED Registry;

2. are on the Alaska SEED Career Ladder levels 1-12; and

3. are currently employed in a licensed program. (Licensed program includes a State of Alaska or Municipality of Anchorage licensed childcare facility, licensed Head Start/Early Head Start program, licensed Before/Afterschool program, or licensed Pre-Elementary School District program.)

This funding opportunity is made available because of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA).
